Martyr's Family Seeks Justice as Telangana Leaves Promises Unfulfilled
A brave man named Pabbala Anil joined the Army many years ago to protect his country.
He came from a small village called Malkapur in Telangana.
One day in May 2023, he was travelling in a helicopter in Jammu and Kashmir when there was a very bad accident.
Sadly, Anil died because of the accident.
He left behind his wife Soujanya and their two little sons.
The government promised to give the family money and other help because he died while doing his duty.
But now, three years later, the family still has not received all the money that was promised.
They are also still waiting to get some land and a place to build a house.
His wife has asked officials for help many times, but nothing has been settled yet.
Some helpers are asking the government to hurry up and support the family, especially before Independence Day.
Pabbala Anil, an Army man from Malkapur village in Boinpalli mandal, died in a helicopter accident in Jammu and Kashmir on May 4, 2023, while on duty.
The government recognised Anil's death as a service-related casualty, and the previous government provided employment to his wife.
Wife Soujanya and their two sons have waited about three years for the promised ex-gratia amount and cash award linked to his Sena Medal.
The family also awaits a final resolution on the promised agricultural land and house site at the district headquarters.
