FDA Recalls Member’s Mark Super Greens Linked to Salmonella Outbreak

FDA Recalls Member’s Mark Super Greens Linked to Salmonella Outbreak

Imagine a special green powder made from a plant called moringa.

Some people in America got sick with a tummy bug called Salmonella after eating this powder.

The people who check our food, the FDA, found out that a part of the powder came from a company in India.

This company's powder was likely the reason people got sick.

So, the FDA told all the stores, like Sam's Club, to take the green powder off the shelves.

They also said that anyone who has the powder at home shouldn't eat it.

Salmonella is a germ that can make your stomach hurt, and sometimes it's serious enough for people to go to the hospital.

The FDA is still looking to see if other foods might have the same problem.
