GHMC Promotes Cleanliness and Greenery in Hyderabad
The city's cleaning team, GHMC, had a fun day at the park with kids and adults to make Hyderabad cleaner and greener.
They talked about how important it is to keep our streets tidy and not throw trash around.
They also gave out little trees for kids to plant, teaching them to be good caretakers of our planet.
Everyone promised to help keep the city sparkling clean and full of trees.
GHMC organized a 'Happy Streets' event at Sanjeevaiah Children’s Park with the theme 'Clean & Green Hyderabad'.
The event focused on GHMC's initiatives for sanitation, waste segregation, discouraging littering, and promoting eco-friendly habits.
A key focus was sensitizing children about becoming future guardians of a sustainable Hyderabad.
Khairtabad Zonal Commissioner Anuraag Jayanti emphasized the role of public participation in maintaining cleanliness and greenery.
Participants took a pledge to keep the city clean, and saplings were distributed to children.
