Mumbai Fire Brigade Pushes for Andheri Land Handover to Build Fire Station
Imagine a fire station needs to be built in a busy area to help quickly when there is a fire.
A piece of land was set aside for this fire station a long time ago.
But, the people using the land haven't started building the fire station.
The fire department is worried because it takes too long to get to emergencies, which can be dangerous.
Now, politicians are getting involved to try and make sure the land is used for the fire station like it was planned.
Mumbai Fire Brigade urges handover of Chitrakoot ground for Ambivali fire station.
The ground is currently occupied by M/s Shah Constructions, delaying the fire station's construction.

The plot is reserved for a fire station under the development plan 2034.
The issue will be raised in the state assembly by Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Haroon Khan.
