NMMC Finds No Medical Negligence in Sonam Dongre's Death
A committee in Navi Mumbai looked into the death of Sonam Dongre at Rajmata Jijau Hospital.
They found that the doctors followed all the right steps and there was no medical negligence.
Sonam died because of a severe allergic reaction to a medicine called Dexamethasone and some food got into her airway.
The committee is still waiting for more reports to be sure.
Another patient, Richa Mishra, had a similar reaction but recovered.
The committee also looked at another case where a patient had a mild reaction but got better.
They said the medicine was given correctly and everything was done properly.
They will send their findings to a national body for severe reactions.
They are also looking into another death at the same hospital.
