CM Samrat Choudhary leads Tiranga Yatra in Patna, thousands join
Every year, people in India celebrate their flag by hanging it outside their homes.
The leader of the Indian state of Bihar, Samrat Choudhary, took a long walk through the city of Patna while holding the Indian flag.
Many thousands of people walked with him and cheered for their country.
This walk is called a Tiranga Yatra, because 'Tiranga' is the special name for India's flag.
It is part of a big campaign called 'Har Ghar Tiranga,' which means 'a flag in every home.'
Before the walk, students from a local school played music with a brass band.
Police officers watched over the walk using cameras and even drones to keep everyone safe.
Some roads were closed to cars, and drivers were given different routes to use.
The walk made many people feel proud and happy about their country.
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary led a Tiranga Yatra in Patna on Monday, walking from JP Golambar to Kargil Chowk while carrying the Tricolour.
Thousands of people joined the procession, raising chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' at Kargil Chowk.
The yatra was part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which will continue until August 17.
Over 10,000 people were expected to participate, including schoolchildren, female students, NCC cadets, Scouts and Guides, youth and social organisations.
Traffic on major Patna routes was diverted, and police deployed CCTV cameras, drones, Quick Response Teams, bomb disposal squads and dog squads to secure the event.
