India Bat First as Padikkal Replaces Injured Sai Sudharsan
Two big cricket teams, India and Sri Lanka, are playing a special game called a Test match in a town called Galle.
A Test match is a very long game of cricket that can last for five days.
The captain of India, Shubman Gill, won a coin toss, which means his team got to choose what to do first.
He chose for India to bat first, so their players try to score as many runs as possible.
One Indian player named Sai Sudharsan got hurt and could not play, so another player named Devdutt Padikkal took his place.
Another player, Ravindra Jadeja, came back to the team after taking a rest.
Before this big game, India played a practice match in Colombo and won it.
The game in Galle is very important because it counts toward a big competition called the World Test Championship.
Cricket fans are excited to see how many runs India can score.
