OTT Platform Rejects Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Sequel
A movie director named Tharun Bhascker is making a sequel to his film Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi.
The original lead actor, Sai Sushanth, won't be in the sequel.
The producer, Srujan Yarabolu, said a big streaming platform didn't want to buy the rights for the sequel because they didn't have any open spots.
The producer thinks if the movie had a bigger budget, the platform would have bought the rights anyway.
People on social media think the platform missed a good chance.
The sequel will come out in late 2026 and will star Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu.
OTT platform rejected the digital rights for Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi sequel due to no available slots.
Producer Srujan Yarabolu stated that a big-budget film would likely be acquired regardless of scheduling.
Sai Sushanth will not be part of the sequel due to personal reasons.
Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu will reprise their roles in the sequel.
The film is scheduled for release in late 2026.
