South Coast Railway GM Inspects Stations and Pushkaralu Preparations
Railway officials visited several stations in the Vijayawada–Rajamahendravaram section.
They checked station improvement work, cleanliness, passenger facilities and safety.
General manager Sandeep Mathur also reviewed tracks, signals and railway operations.
Officials looked at preparations for larger crowds expected during the Godavari Pushkaralu.
Mathur visited two bathing ghats near the Godavari River to assess how people might move safely.
He also checked railway conditions on a train journey toward Visakhapatnam.
South Coast Railway general manager Sandeep Mathur inspected stations with Vijayawada divisional railway manager Mohit Sonakiya and other officials.

Stations inspected included Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavole, Kovvuru, Godavari and Rajahmundry.
Mathur checked track maintenance, signalling, yard remodelling and operational safety, stressing safety standards and efficient train operations.
At Rajamahendravaram, he assessed passenger and safety preparations for expected Godavari Pushkaralu pilgrims and inspected the route toward Visakhapatnam from a train’s rear window.
