Sri Lanka Navy Rescues Indian Fishing Vessel With 11 Crew

A fishing boat from India got into trouble near the island country of Sri Lanka.

The boat had 11 fishermen on board and it hit a rocky reef in the sea.

Sri Lanka's Navy heard about the problem and sent help to the fishermen.

The boat got some damage when it hit the rocks, but the fishermen were not in serious danger.

Sri Lanka's Navy said the Indian boat was fishing where it should not have been.

They said the boat crossed an invisible line in the water called the maritime boundary.

They also said the boat was using a kind of fishing net that is against the rules there.

Fishing arguments between India and Sri Lanka happen a lot.

Fishermen from both countries sometimes get caught when they accidentally cross into the other country's waters.

The Navy is now following the rules to decide what happens next.
