Delhi Sets September 15 Deadline for J&K Migrant Relief Updates
The Delhi government has made it easier for families from Jammu and Kashmir who live in Delhi to get monthly help.
They no longer need to show proof of income or property.
Families must fill out a form by September 15 to update their family details.
After that, the city will give money to up to four people in each family.
The new rules also explain what happens if someone gets married or if a family splits up.
Delhi government issues a new SOP to simplify monthly relief for Jammu and Kashmir migrant families.
One‑time amnesty allows families registered until March 2024 to submit Form‑A by September 15 to update family composition.
Income criterion removed; families no longer need to provide income certificates or property documents.
District authorities will update records after September 15 and disburse relief for up to four members per family.
Marriages, bifurcations, and arrears are clarified, with special rules for migrant spouses and pending payments.
