Andhra Pradesh HC Upholds Group-2 Policy, Orders APP Re-Evaluation

The Andhra Pradesh High Court made two important decisions.

First, they decided to keep the current rules for Group-2 jobs the same, even though some people wanted to change them.

This means the rules for who can get these jobs will stay as they are now.

Second, they ordered the government to re-check the answer sheets of 10 candidates who took a test to become Assistant Public Prosecutors.

Only 10 people passed the test out of more than 1,500, which made some people think the checking might not have been fair.

The court wants to make sure everything is fair and will check the answer sheets again.

The government has to report back to the court in six weeks.
