Last of Us Season 2's Ellie Weakens Story's Future
In 'The Last of Us' TV show, the character Ellie wasn't as tough or complex as she should have been, according to some people.
They felt the show made her softer and less driven, unlike the video game.
Because of this, her choices didn't always make sense, and it was harder to root for her.
This might make the next season, which focuses on another character named Abby, less impactful.
The changes to Ellie’s story could affect how Abby's story is told, leading to a less emotionally connected ending for fans.
It's as if Ellie’s story lost its way, potentially making the overall tale weaker and less exciting.
Critics suggest 'The Last of Us' Season 2 softened Ellie's character arc, impacting her portrayal.
The show watered down Ellie's transformation into a darker, more vengeful figure compared to the game.
Ellie's actions and reactions in the show appear inconsistent, lacking the conviction seen in the source material.
The writing choices made Ellie appear immature and reliant on others, hindering the emotional impact.
These narrative changes might negatively affect the mirroring of Abby and Ellie's stories in future seasons.
