Maratha Activist Jarange Issues Explosive 2029 Warning to Mahayuti

In Maharashtra, a state in India, a group called the Maratha community is fighting for special benefits called reservation, which helps people get government jobs and school seats.

A leader named Manoj Jarange is helping them in this fight.

He got very upset when the government cancelled special papers, called Kunbi certificates, of four women leaders from the Maratha community.

Jarange said the government was playing a trick: it gave out the certificates and then took them back.

He blamed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other ministers for this.

He warned that in 2029, when people vote in elections, the Maratha community would teach the ruling leaders a lesson.

He also asked for a special test called a narco test on one minister to find out the truth.

During Jarange's speech, another minister named Uday Samant called him on the phone and promised to look into the matter.

Jarange asked him to get the cancelled certificates restored.

The government says it is only following the legal process for checking caste certificates.
