Kerala stepmother burns girl's private parts
A 5-year-old girl in Kerala was hurt by her stepmother.
The stepmother used a hot steel spatula to hurt the girl's private parts because the girl wet her bed.
The girl's teacher noticed she was having trouble sitting in class and told the police.
The police arrested the stepmother and she will be in jail for 14 days.
The girl is now being taken care of by a special committee for children.

The woman has been booked under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Juvenile Justice Act.
The child, whose father is a Nepalese hotel worker, is currently under the care of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
