Election Commission Holds Training in Jharkhand for Election Functionaries
The Election Commission (EC) started a training program for election workers in Jharkhand.
Over 400 people, including officers and supervisors, are learning how to help voters.
They will practice filling out forms, using apps, and managing voting machines.
The EC wants them to teach voters about their rights, like how to appeal if there are any problems with the voter lists.
This is part of a larger effort, as the EC has trained over 3,000 people across the country recently.
The Election Commission initiated a two-day training program for election functionaries in Jharkhand.
402 participants, including electoral officers and supervisors, are involved in the training.
The training includes interactive sessions, role-playing, and practical exercises.
Participants will be trained on using EVMs, VVPATs, and the Voter Helpline App.
Over 3,000 participants have been trained nationwide in the past three months.
