Huawei's BESS Safety System Earns Top Global Appraisal
Huawei Digital Power has created a special system to make sure big battery storage systems are safe.
A group of experts checked this system and said it's the best in the world.
The system helps find and fix safety problems in these big batteries.
It even has special technologies to stop fires and keep everything working safely.
This system is already being used in big projects in China, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia.
Experts say it's very important for making sure our energy systems are safe and reliable.
Huawei Digital Power's Full-Lifecycle BESS Safety Quantitative Assessment System received top appraisal from the China Electricity Council.
The system addresses critical safety gaps in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and is deemed world-leading.
The system classifies BESS safety risks into three levels: A (unacceptable), B (to be mitigated), and C (acceptable).
Four core safety technologies were developed, including intelligent active safety warning and positive pressure oxygen blocking.
The system is already applied in large-scale projects in China, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia.
