Temple Cleansing Marks Start of Tirumala Brahmotsavams
Imagine a big festival is about to start at a temple!
Before it begins, they do a special cleaning called Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam.
People clean everything in the temple with holy water and special ingredients.
Then, they decorate the temple and get ready for the main festival, which lasts nine days.
Many people will visit the temple to celebrate and pray.
Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was performed at Sri Venkateswara Temple.
The ritual is done before major festivals like Brahmotsavams.
The temple was thoroughly cleaned and purified.
Brahmotsavams will be held from September 24 to October 2.
Devotees will attend daily processions and rituals during the celebrations.
