Dyson V16 Rethinks Hair, Floors and Vacuum Bin Maintenance

Dyson V16 Rethinks Hair, Floors and Vacuum Bin Maintenance

Dyson made a new cordless vacuum called the V16 Piston Animal.

The engineers wanted to solve problems people often face while cleaning.

One problem is hair getting tangled around the vacuum brush.

The V16 uses two cone-shaped brushes to move hair toward the ends.

The hair can then go directly into the dust bin instead of wrapping around the brush.

The cleaner head can also sense whether it is on a hard floor or carpet.

It changes how it works for the surface underneath it.

Dyson says the design can handle hair up to 25 inches long and makes emptying the vacuum easier.
