Lok Sabha Speaker Calls Business Advisory Committee Meet

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla called a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee to plan the Monsoon Session of Parliament, which starts on July 20 and ends on August 13.

The session will have 19 sittings.

The government wants all political parties to work together.

However, some opposition MPs walked out because they didn't like certain members being there.

There are changes in the political groups, with the ruling party expected to gain more members and the opposition to lose some.

Important bills about women's reservation, removing officials under certain conditions, and holding elections together might be discussed.

Other bills about judges, wages, corporate laws, and sports might also be introduced.
