Four Kuki Militants Killed in Manipur Gunfight
Imagine some groups in a region are causing trouble and hurting people.
The soldiers, who are supposed to protect everyone, got a tip that a specific group called UKNA, who don't follow the rules for peace, were nearby and armed.
The soldiers went to find them, but the UKNA group started shooting first.
The soldiers had to shoot back to defend themselves, and sadly, four of the UKNA members were killed.
Some others ran away into the forest.
The soldiers said this was important to stop the UKNA from hurting more people and to keep the area safe.
Four United Kuki National Army (UKNA) militants were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Manipur's Khanpi village.
The operation was launched by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles based on intelligence inputs.
