AP Police Find No Evidence for ‘Love Jihad’ Allegations

The police chief of Andhra Pradesh said there is no proof of “Love Jihad” in the state so far.

Some people had made these allegations about two cases in Kakinada district.

Police said they are still investigating those cases.

The police are also examining the death of Dr. Priyanka and a family suicide case.

The DGP said officials want to finish these investigations quickly and take the cases to a special court.

He did not share some details because the investigations are still underway.

For a large religious event in 2027, police plan to use drones, cameras, and artificial intelligence to watch crowds.

They want to prevent too many people from gathering in one place.
