BJP Spokesperson Criticizes YSRC Over Medical College Plans
A politician from the BJP party, Sadhineni Yamini Sharma, is speaking out against another political party called YSRC.
She says YSRC is telling people untrue things about new medical schools being planned in their state.
Yamini Sharma explained that the plan is to work with private companies, but it's not like selling the schools.
She said that most beds in these new hospitals will still be for regular people, and the government will still have control over many things.
She also mentioned that the national government will pay for most of the project, so poor people and students shouldn't worry.
BJP spokesperson Sadhineni Yamini Sharma accused YSRC of misleading the public about medical college development plans.
Sharma criticized former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for not completing proposed government medical colleges.
She clarified that the public-private partnership (PPP) model for medical colleges is a partnership, not privatization.
Under the PPP model, 70% of beds will be reserved for ordinary patients, and half of the MBBS and PG seats will remain under government control.
The central government is expected to provide 80% of the funding for these PPP projects.
