Cyclone Montha Makes Landfall in India, Prompts Widespread Alerts
A big storm named Cyclone Montha has arrived on India's east coast.
It started as a weaker weather system in the Bay of Bengal and grew stronger, becoming a cyclonic storm and touching land near the city of Kakinada.
This is the first big storm of the year.
Because of this, many areas in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are on high alert, with some places under a 'red alert.'
Schools have been closed, and people living near the coast are being asked to move to safer places.
