Ponguleti Says Podu Land Solution Will Come Soon

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy is a minister in Telangana.

He said the government would soon announce a way to address long-running Podu land problems.

Podu cultivation is a traditional way of farming that some tribal and other communities depend on.

He said some forest-land matters are handled by the Union government, so he would discuss them there.

He also listed welfare programmes that the state government has introduced.

He said villages would receive funds for basic improvements.

He said eligible poor families would be considered for Indiramma houses, regardless of their political affiliation.

He asked Congress workers to help graduates register to vote in an upcoming election.
