Demand Grows for Madanapalle District Creation in AP
Imagine a town called Madanapalle that wants to be its own special district, like a mini-city with its own government.
Before an election, the people were promised this would happen if a certain group won.
Now that the group is in charge, people are asking them to keep that promise!
They feel that the previous government did not listen to their wishes when they made a new district.
Some of the areas that were supposed to be included are now going to be part of a different district.
The people are hoping the new leaders will listen and create the Madanapalle district like they said they would.
Opposition parties are urging the NDA-led government to form the Madanapalle district.
The demand follows a promise made by the TDP to the people of Madanapalle before the 2024 elections.
BCY founder Bode Ramachandra Yadav reminded the government of this promise.
The previous YSRCP government included Madanapalle in the Annamayya district.
The current government proposed to merge certain mandals from the Punganur assembly constituency into the Annamayya district.
