Ranipura Traders Protest as Indore Clears Shop Encroachments

Ranipura Traders Protest as Indore Clears Shop Encroachments

Indore officials went to Ranipura to remove temporary structures outside shops.

These structures included raised platforms, partitions, and kiosks.

Officials said they were blocking roads and footpaths.

Shopkeepers disagreed with the action and protested.

An argument broke out during the operation.

Some protesters tried to stop traffic on the road.

Police moved them aside and reopened the road.

The civic team then continued removing structures, including in the Jail Road area.

Officials said traders had been warned not to rebuild the structures or leave goods outside their shops.
