UP Govt. Ordered to Fix Deteriorating Medical Facilities
The Allahabad High Court is making sure hospitals in Uttar Pradesh are good enough for everyone.
The court is worried that the state is spending all its money to make the hospitals in the capital city great but forgetting about other cities.
The government has to fix this and tell the court what they're doing to help all the hospitals.
They also need to upgrade a big hospital in Prayagraj and make sure that the local people have good medical facilities.
The court wants the government to share its plan for the primary health centers and whether to open a hospital like SGPGIMS in Prayagraj.
Allahabad High Court directed the Uttar Pradesh government to address deteriorating medical facilities.
The court noted that the focus seemed to be on developing infrastructure in the state capital, neglecting other cities.
Principal Secretary of Medical Education, UP, is ordered to appear in court on July 1, 2025.
