Farooq Abdullah Calls for Unity Against Communal Politics

Dr Farooq Abdullah, the leader of the National Conference, spoke to a group of party members about his concerns regarding the increasing hatred, communalism, and religious intolerance in India.

He urged all secular and democratic forces to come together to protect India’s constitutional values and unity.

He emphasized that India’s freedom was achieved through the collective efforts of people from all faiths and regions.

Dr Farooq also highlighted the importance of the constitutional guarantees that were given to Jammu and Kashmir, which have been diluted over time.

He called for the restoration of the region’s special constitutional status and the rights of its people.

He reminded everyone that all religions teach peace, justice, and mutual respect, and that no religion supports hatred or violence.

He also expressed concern about the increasing injustice and discrimination faced by minority communities and urged people to reject the politics of hatred and division.

He believes that by upholding values of communal harmony, constitutionalism, and inclusiveness, India can continue to progress and prosper.
