Police Intensify Action Against Loud Ganesh Pandal DJ Systems

Police are checking Ganesh festival sites in Nizamabad and Kamareddy.

They want to stop very loud DJ music.

Officials say loud noise can hurt or disturb children and elderly people.

Normal sound limits are usually between 40 and 75 decibels.

Some DJ systems at festival sites have reportedly gone above 100 decibels.

Police have already seized three DJ systems and vehicles.

Organizers have been asked to celebrate with devotional music and local performers instead.

Sound systems cannot be used between 10 p.m.

and 6 a.m., and permission is needed before using them.
