Hyderabad Cracks Down on Chinese Manja
The Hyderabad police are working hard to stop the sale and use of a dangerous type of kite string called Chinese Manja.
This string is banned because it can hurt people, birds, and the environment.
The police have made many arrests and seized a lot of this banned string.
They are also watching online sales to make sure no one is selling or buying it illegally.
The police chief asked everyone to use safe, traditional cotton kite strings and to report any violations.
The South West Zone had the most violations, and a special police team called the Commissioner’s Task Force helped a lot in this effort.
The police have also warned that Chinese Manja is being brought into Hyderabad from other states and action will be taken against those involved in its manufacture.
