John Brittas Says Delhi Police Detained Kerala Leaders for Hours

John Brittas is a politician from Kerala.

He said police detained him and two other Kerala leaders in Delhi.

He said they were driven around in a police jeep for about three and a half hours before reaching a police station.

The leaders had been near Kerala House and wanted to join protests close to Jantar Mantar.

The protests were calling for the chief election commissioner to resign.

Brittas said many roads were blocked and police were stopping people from gathering.

He also said protesters would keep demonstrating in other ways.

These details are Brittas’s account of what happened.
