Mumbai Central Division Expands Cleanliness, Food Safety and Community Drives

Mumbai Central Division is holding a campaign to make railway places cleaner and safer.

Workers cleaned stations, railway yards, sheds and nearby areas.

They removed over 4,000 kilograms of waste and almost 9 kilometres of unwanted plants beside tracks.

Teams also sorted rubbish at many stations and railway colonies.

Inspectors checked food stalls and kitchens on trains.

They tested water and collected food and milk samples to check their quality.

At Borivali station, about 50 students, teachers and club members helped clean up.

They also performed a short play to teach people about hygiene and putting rubbish in the right place.
