Dhurandhar Clears Legal Hurdle, Set for Release
The movie Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, is set to release on 5 December 2023.
It has already sold over 9,000 tickets in advance, making more than ₹45 lakh.
The film is about a man who fights bad guys and is based on real events.
It has a lot of famous actors in it, like Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna.
The movie is very long, almost 3 and a half hours.
There was a legal issue, but the court allowed the movie to be released.
One of the actors, Rakesh Bedi, says the movie is so good that it will be like the classic movie Sholay.
The production team is very confident that people will love the movie without needing a lot of promotion.
Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, has sold 9,110 advance tickets, generating ₹45.17 lakh in revenue.
The Delhi High Court disposed of a petition to halt the film's release, allowing it to proceed as scheduled.
The film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.
Rakesh Bedi describes his character, Jameel, as a manipulative slum lord who controls people and politicians.
The film's runtime is 3 hours and 30 minutes, with reports suggesting it may be released in two parts.
