CBI Custody of Accused in Witness Murder Attempt

CBI Custody of Accused in Witness Murder Attempt

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken custody of a man named Abdul Alim Molla.

He is accused of trying to kill Bhola Ghosh, who is an important witness in a case against a powerful local leader named Sheikh Shahjahan.

In December, Bhola Ghosh's car had a bad accident with a truck, and his son and driver died.

People think this might not have been an accident.

The CBI believes Molla is involved in this and also in an attack on some officials earlier.

Molla did not respond to the CBI's calls to come for questioning, so they took him into custody.

The CBI wants to ask him more questions about these incidents.

Additionally, three more people were arrested in connection with an attack on police personnel in Sandeshkhali, bringing the total number of arrests to 12.

The main accused, Musa Mollah, is still on the run.
