Border 2 to depict Battle of Basantar
Border 2 is a new movie about the 1971 war between India and Pakistan.
It tells the story of Major Hoshiar Singh, who was very brave and got a big award for his actions.
He and his team had to capture a village called Jarpal from the Pakistani army.
They faced many challenges, like crossing a river and dealing with mines and tanks.
During the battle, they destroyed many Pakistani tanks and lost many soldiers.
One of the brave soldiers, Arun Khetarpal, died in the fight.
The movie also shows how the Pakistani army eventually gave up and asked for the bodies of their soldiers.
Major Hoshiar Singh was hurt but kept fighting bravely.
He later retired and passed away in 1998.
The trailer for the movie will be launched on January 15 to celebrate Indian Army Day, and the team had a special interaction with the Indian Navy at the Karwar Naval Base.
