National Conference of Prison Officers in Vizag
A big meeting for prison officers is happening in Visakhapatnam on January 28 and 29.
Important prison officers from all over India will come to share ideas about how to make prisons better.
A lot of officers, about 75 from different states and 55 from Andhra Pradesh, will be there.
A special minister from the central government will start the meeting, and another minister from the state government will be at the end.
They will talk about how to improve prisons and take care of people inside them.
The 9th National Conference of Prison Officers will be held in Visakhapatnam on January 28 and 29.
Heads of prisons from all States and Union Territories will attend to exchange knowledge and ideas.
75 officers of DG and IG rank and 55 senior prison officers from Andhra Pradesh are expected to participate.
Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar will be the chief guest at the inaugural function.
State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha will attend the valedictory function on January 29.
