Blue Cloud Softech Shares Jump 3% After NSE Dual Listing
Blue Cloud Softech is a software and artificial intelligence company in India.
On Tuesday, its shares went up more than 3%, even though the overall stock market was having a slow day.
The good news for the company is that its shares can now be traded on a second big stock exchange in India.
A stock exchange is a special marketplace where people buy and sell small pieces of companies.
Blue Cloud shares were already on one exchange called BSE, and now they are also on the other big one called NSE.
The company had to show it was big and well-behaved to get this chance.
It makes AI tools for public safety, healthcare, and 5G internet, and wants to grow in Africa and the United States.
The company's chairman said this is a proud moment that gives investors more choices and liquidity.
Soon, the company's leaders will also think about buying a healthcare company in America.
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions shares jumped over 3% on BSE on 18 August, touching an intraday high of ₹22.68 despite muted market trends.
The company's equity shares were admitted to trading on the NSE Main Board effective 17 August 2026, creating a dual listing on both of India's principal stock exchanges.
Blue Cloud qualified for NSE admission with a six-month average market capitalisation above the ₹1,500 crore eligibility threshold and a clean compliance and investor-grievance record.
A total of 92,30,81,600 equity shares of face value Re 1 each were admitted under the 'permitted to trade' category.
The board will meet on 24 August to evaluate the proposed acquisition of equity share capital in a healthcare sector entity in the United States.
