BSE Reports Record Q2 Revenue and Profit Growth
BSE, which is like a big stock market where people buy and sell company shares, had a fantastic three months!
They made more money than ever before during this period.
Their profits also went up a lot.
This is because more people are trading special financial products called derivatives, and many new companies are starting to sell their shares on BSE's markets.
BSE also helps people invest in mutual funds, and more transactions are happening there too.
Even their systems for handling these trades have gotten much faster.
While the company did very well financially, the value of its own shares went up just a little bit on the stock market.
BSE Ltd achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹1,139 crore in Q2 FY26, a 40% year-over-year increase.
Consolidated net profit rose by 61% to ₹557 crore, and operating EBITDA surged by 75% to ₹680 crore.
The equity derivatives segment processed 642 crore contracts, generating ₹624 crore in revenue.
BSE facilitated 97 new equity listings, helping companies raise ₹53,548 crore, and its SME platform hosts 657 listed companies.
The StAR MF platform handled 20.1 crore mutual fund transactions, maintaining an 89% market share, while its clearing subsidiary saw significant increases in turnover due to technology upgrades.
