Roadside parking turns Rajamahendravaram streets into accident zones

In a city called Rajamahendravaram, cars and bikes are being parked on the roads in front of shops, malls, and hospitals.

This is making the roads crowded and dangerous.

The city has many vehicles, with about 280,000 registered.

Big buildings have parking areas underneath them, called cellars, but these are not being used properly.

Some cellar spaces stay empty, while others have been turned into shops.

So people park on the roadside instead.

This leaves less room for buses, autos, and other cars to move.

Traffic gets stuck, and sometimes there are accidents.

People who walk are also affected because footpaths are blocked, and even ambulances and other emergency vehicles struggle to get through.

The city needs better parking rules and stronger enforcement to keep everyone safe.
