India Tests First Hydrogen-Powered Train Coach
India is working on a new type of train that runs on hydrogen, a clean fuel.
They've already tested the first part of it.
This involves changing old diesel trains to use hydrogen instead.
The plan is for these trains to travel between two stations in Haryana.
There are some safety concerns because hydrogen is flammable, but they're adding special safety features and getting help from a German safety company to make sure everything is safe.
This is part of India's effort to use cleaner energy.
Indian Railways successfully tested its first hydrogen-powered coach.
The project aims to convert diesel-powered cars into hydrogen fuel cell-powered cars.
The hydrogen train will operate between Jind and Sonepat stations in Haryana.
The project costs approximately Rs. 136 crore.
Safety features include pressure relief valves and leak detection systems.
