Kendrapada Rath Yatra: Chariot Construction Underway
Imagine a giant wooden car being built for a big festival called Rath Yatra!
It's happening in Kendrapada, India.
This car, called a chariot, is super long and has lots of wheels.
Carpenters are building it using wood.
They are fixing the old wheels and making new ones.
The festival is coming up soon, so everyone is working hard to get the chariot ready.
Some people are worried about how strong the chariot is because the wood wasn't great last year.
But, the people in charge are making sure everything is safe this time.
The chariot is dedicated to Lord Baladev.
Construction of the 65-ft-long chariot for the Rath Yatra is ongoing at the Baladevjew temple in Kendrapada.
The chariot, named 'Bramahataladhawaja,' will have 14 wheels, with four new and 10 repaired.
About 25 carpenters are working to complete the chariot before the festival.
Construction began on May 23, delayed due to late wood procurement.
