ICC Sets Deadline for Bangladesh's T20 World Cup Participation
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given Bangladesh a deadline to decide if they will play in the 2026 T20 World Cup in India.
If Bangladesh refuses, Scotland might take their place.
Bangladesh is worried about safety in India, but the ICC says there's no specific threat to them.
The ICC also said no to Bangladesh's idea of switching matches with Ireland, who will play in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh is supposed to play some of their matches in Kolkata and Mumbai.
There was also a meeting between the ICC and BCB in Dhaka where these issues were discussed.
ICC has set a January 21 deadline for BCB to confirm participation in the 2026 T20 World Cup in India.
