Man, son shot dead over old enmity
A man and his son were shot and killed in a village in Uttar Pradesh, India.
The police believe this happened because of an old fight between two families.
Many years ago, in 2011, the man and his son were accused of killing someone from the other family, but they were later found not guilty.
However, the bad feelings between the families continued.
Now, the police are looking for the people who did this and have sent extra officers to keep the peace in the village.
A 60-year-old man and his 38-year-old son were shot dead in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district.
The incident occurred on Friday, December 27, while the victims were returning from their fields.
Police suspect the killings were an act of revenge for a 2011 murder, for which the victims were initially accused but later acquitted.
The police have deployed forces from several stations and have registered a case to arrest the accused.
The matter involves two communities, and the police are working to maintain peace in the village.
