UEM Kolkata Holds 2026 Convocation Ceremony
The University of Engineering and Management (UEM) in Kolkata held its 2026 convocation ceremony.
This event was for students who graduated in 2025.
The university gave degrees to these students.
They also gave special honorary doctorates to important people from different fields like science and education.
The ceremony started with a welcome speech by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti.
The chief guest, Prof. V S Chauhan, who is a very respected person, gave a speech to inspire the students.
Dr. Debika Bhattacharyya helped run the event smoothly.
The ceremony ended with the national anthem after giving out all the degrees.

Honorary Doctorates were conferred upon eminent personalities from academia, science, and industry.

Prof. V S Chauhan, Padma Shri and former Executive Chairman of NAAC, delivered the convocation address.
The ceremony concluded with the awarding of PhD and degree certificates, followed by the National Anthem.
