REC Reports Record FY2025-26 Performance, Launches ESG Report
REC Limited held a meeting for its shareholders to discuss how the company performed during FY2025-26.
The company said it provided more loans than ever before.
It also reported a profit of ₹16,282 crore.
REC supported 58 renewable energy projects, such as clean-energy projects, with more than ₹85,000 crore in loans.
These projects have helped avoid about 7.6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
REC also released the third edition of its environmental, social and governance report.
The company said it spent ₹338 crore on community projects, including healthcare and rural development.
A proposed restructuring with Power Finance Corporation is still being worked on and has not yet been completed.

The company reported record FY2025-26 disbursements of ₹2.11 lakh crore and sanctions of ₹4.09 lakh crore.
REC recorded a net profit of ₹16,282 crore and total income of ₹59,187 crore during the year.
REC sanctioned 58 renewable energy projects totaling more than 13,000 MW, with loan assistance exceeding ₹85,000 crore.
The company unveiled the third edition of its ESG report and said the proposed REC-Power Finance Corporation restructuring was under progress.
