Good Glamm Group to Dissolve, Brands to Be Sold Separately
Good Glamm Group, a big company that made makeup and other products, is splitting up.
It was worth a lot of money, but it had money problems and couldn't fix them.
The company's brands, like MyGlamm, will now be sold individually.
The lenders who provided funds will be in charge of selling these brands.
The CEO, Darpan Sanghvi, said this on social media and mentioned that if the brands aren't sold successfully, he'll use some of his own money to pay employees what they're owed.
Good Glamm Group, a D2C unicorn valued at $1.2 billion, will be dismantled.
Individual brands will be sold separately by lenders.
Darpan Sanghvi, CEO, confirmed the shift via a LinkedIn post.
The group includes brands like MyGlamm, POPxo, and The Moms Co.
Sanghvi assured he would contribute 25% of his post-tax earnings to settle employee dues if lenders fail to sell brands.
