Valuation
Cautious valuation view
Shivani Nyati said valuations were relatively rich at about 18.5–19.5 times FY26 price-to-earnings and 6.8–7.1 times price-to-book, making the post-listing premium less attractive for fresh buying.
Long-term growth view
Anand Rathi Research described the issue as fully priced at the upper band but still gave it a “Subscribe for Long Term” recommendation. Deven Choksey Research cited Augmont’s growth and return profile.
Business risks
Cautious valuation view
Nyati said low PAT margins, dependence on bullion trading volumes, revenue contributions from promoter-group entity Riddisiddhi Bullions, customer concentration and the absence of long-term contracts created risks.
Long-term growth view
Deven Choksey Research highlighted Augmont’s 14-year price-discovery engine, NSE-authorised EGR partnership, expanding consumer base and debt-free balance sheet.
Post-listing action
Cautious valuation view
Nyati recommended that allotted investors book partial profits and hold the remainder with a ₹900 stop-loss; she said a break below ₹900 would warrant caution.
Long-term growth view
Nyati also said a sustained move above ₹1,000 could support further upside, while the strong debut showed continued buying interest despite weak broader-market sentiment.
