Kane Williamson Retires From T20 International Cricket

Kane Williamson, a cricket player for New Zealand, has decided to stop playing T20 international games right away.

He made this announcement on Sunday.

He did this to give younger players a chance to get ready for the next T20 World Cup.

Williamson also wants to focus more on Test matches and spend time with his family.

He was a great player, captaining New Zealand to the T20 World Cup final in 2021 and to the semi-finals twice before that.

He has scored many runs and led the team in most of the T20 international games he played.

Even though he's leaving T20 internationals, he will still play other kinds of cricket for New Zealand.
