Rajasthan's 'Jungle Man' Turns Deserts Green with 30,000 Trees and 800 Volunteers
Imagine a place where it's very dry and mostly sand, like a desert.
A man named Bhuvnesh Ojha, who is called the 'Jungle Man', decided to make this place green.
He started planting trees, and many other people joined him!
So far, they have planted over 30,000 trees that can grow in the hot weather.
They also built special small forests and saved a lot of rainwater.
Bhuvnesh also helped farmers learn how to grow food in a way that is good for the land.
Because of him and all the helpers, even the dry desert is becoming a beautiful green forest.
Bhuvnesh Ojha, known as the ‘Jungle Man of Rajasthan’, is transforming desert land into forests.
Over 30,000 native trees have been planted to withstand Rajasthan's harsh climate.
The Pukaar Foundation, founded in 2013, has created eight Miyawaki forests.
The initiative has conserved 20 million liters of rainwater.
More than 600 local farmers have been trained in natural farming and permaculture, supported by over 800 volunteers.
